  • Above: Pastor Myles Murphy with The Coloma Girls' Choir and their director,
Hillary Meyers in front of the main altar of Our Lady of Victory Church..

A FOND FAREWELL AND BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!

Fr. Cortezano received a great send-off last Sunday at the 12:15 Mass. First, there was the Coloma Convent Girls’ School Choir from London, England who sang beautifully at the 10:15 & 12:15 Masses both of which were full. The choir was 63 voices strong!
Thank you, girls and thanks to their choral director, Hilary Meyers. The girls went on to sing at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the United Nations the next day.
Everyone was very moved by their voices singing the praises of God. We all felt very blessed. Then many retired to Kozina Kafe next door for a wonderful Sunday brunch that everyone enjoyed and where they could personally both thank the girls and say farewell to Fr. Cortezano. Thank you, too, Kozina Kafe Staff!
